A sliding structure for a portable electronic device is provided to realize a simple sliding structure, thereby cutting down a manufacturing cost as accomplishing slim thickness, consequently a slim portable electronic device capable of being manufactured at low cost can be implemented when the sliding structure is applied to the portable electronic device. The second slider member(120) is mounted on the first slider member(110) to slide thereon. A fixed pin(121a) is disposed on one of the first slider member(110) and the second slider member(120). One pair of elastic members(130) is mounted on the other of the members(110,120), where the fixed pin(121a) is not disposed. The elastic members(130) comprise guide units(131) having a tapered shape, and at least one elastic unit(132) located between the guide units(131) and the one of the members(110,120) where the elastic members(130) are mounted.
