A device and a method for transferring a music file, and a device and a method for playing the music file are provided to increase usage of the music file, offer the music file to users for free, and enable a company to make more tangible and intangible profit related to music appreciation of the users. A first database stores music files, and a second database stores information for forming at least one of a personal music list, a playlist, and an RFID reception music list by each user. A music file list maker makes a music file list to be transferred to a music file player(30) by referring to the first and second databases. A music file list transmitter transmits the music file list to the music file player. A music file transmitter transfers the music file corresponding to the music file list by receiving a request from the music file player. The second database stores the information for forming the playlist by using the information for the music file having a music feature similar to the feature selected by the user, and stores the information for the music files sponsored by a company.
