FIELD: mechanical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in manufacture and assembling of internal combustion engines. According to proposed method of assembling of internal combustion engine, two shells are arranged on crankpin of crank-shaft so that inner surfaces of shells form common cylindrical surface whose axis does not coincide with axis of outer cylindrical surface of shells, but is parallel to said axis. Big end of connecting rod and cap of connecting rod are connected by bolts in initial position of shells at which shell butt joint coincides with butt joint of connecting rod big end and connecting rod cap, small end of connecting rod is connected with piston of cylinder of internal combustion engine. Actual capacity of combustion chamber of engine cylinder is measured when crankshaft is arranged in position corresponding to top dead center. Cap of connecting rod is disconnected. Shells are turned through angle providing required measured distance between axes of crankpin and connecting rod small end and corresponding change of capacity of combustion chamber. Then connecting rod big wend and connecting rod cap are connected by bolts again. ^ EFFECT: provision of possibility of changing position of connecting rod small end and, consequently, position of piston in top dead center and compensation for deviation of capacity of combustion chamber from optimum value caused by influence of different factors in process of manufacture of parts of internal combustion engine by introduction of changes into design of connecting rod. ^ 1 dwg |
