<p>A retrofocus type of zoom lens is provided and includes: in order from an object side thereof, a first lens group (10) having negative refractive power, a stop (St); a second lens group (20) having positive refractive power; and a third lens group (30) having positive refractive power. The magnification of the zoom lens is varied from wide angle to telephoto end by changing the distance between the first and the second lens group and the distance between the second and the third lens group. The first lens group includes: in order from its object side, a negative lens having one aspherical surface and having a concave surface on its image side; and a positive meniscus lens having a convex surface on its object side. The zoom lens satisfies a set of three inequalities.</p> |
