<p>The step (5) has a retractable and extendable ejector (9) with a step plate (4) guided in a frame (8) that is firmly connected with a vehicle. The step plate exhibits a bent section (7), where a step surface of the bent section is bent around a preset angle with respect to a driving direction (R).
