<p>The device has plate-shaped fire protection units (2) exhibiting cover plates, between which a filling section made of a fireproof material is received. Boundary regions of the plates are curved inward such that the regions surround a front side surface of the section. Adjacent front side surfaces of the section and front sides of the protection units are designed in a planar manner. Local connection units are fixed at the regions, and act together with a connecting unit (14) of the protection units, so that the protection units are secured together against a lateral displacement.</p> |
