<p>A hybrid battery pack and a method for charging and discharging the same are provided to receive at least two power supply sources with different shape, chemical property, capacity or charging voltage while implementing capacity calculation, power supply management and control with one circuit. A first power supply source(1100) has a switching circuit. A second power supply source(1200) is connected in parallel with the first power supply source, and has a different switching circuit. A current sensor(1300) is serially connected to the first and second power supply sources at the same time, and senses a current of the first and second power supply sources. A control part(1400) prevents the first and second power supply sources from being over-charged or over-discharged by sensing a voltage of the first and second power supply sources, and calculates total capacity of the first and second power supply sources by using the intensity of a current obtained from the current sensor.</p> |
