THE LINER FOR A SNOWBOARD BY THE FOAMING EXPANSION OF ETHYLENE-VINYL ACETATE COPOLYMER AND THE MANUFACTURING METHOD

A method for manufacturing a liner for a snowboard is provided to reduce manufacturing cost and to prevent foreign material from entering the liner by expanding ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer in a mold. A method for manufacturing a liner for a snowboard comprises the steps: forming an EVA material by reforming ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer with an ethylene copolymer; forming a liquid EVA mixture by adding a forming agent, a cross-liking agent, and an additive to the EVA material; injecting the EVA mixture into a mold and forming the EVA mixture for 3~20 minutes with 130~200°C; opening the mold and expanding the EVA mixture for 1.2~2.0 ratio for forming the liner; and forming a cover unit by cutting two sides of the liner and combining a combining member at two sides of the liner.
