A mobile communication terminal having a keypad is provided to enable a user to input a key by touching the key, by offering the keypad of a touch pad so that the user can easily operate the keypad, thereby increasing the user's convenience. A key input unit(23) inputs a key by serially connecting plural resistance-type sensors having directivity. A controller(25) recognizes the inputted key according to a voltage value measured by the input of the key input unit(23), and controls so that the corresponding function is carried out. The key input unit(23) comprises as follows. A resistance-type sensor unit inputs a voltage from a key driving port, and outputs an output signal in accordance with a pressing action of a resistance-type sensor to a key input sensing port. A smoothing unit removes ripples of a signal outputted from the key input sensing port.
