A packing and a cylinder for controlling the vacuum of a vacuum chuck are provided to pick up objects regardless of the shape and size by installing a plurality of cylinders in a vacuum chuck body and adding a packing with a piston and a guide to the cylinders. A packing for controlling the vacuum of a vacuum chuck comprises a guide(33), a packing upper recess(34), an edge(39), a groove(38), a cylindrical piston(32), and a piston inner space(36). Vacuum and air pressure passes through the guide. The packing upper recess is formed at the center of the guide. The edge is formed at the periphery of the guide. The groove is formed at the bottom of the guide where a piston outer surface(35) extends toward the guide. The piston inner space is formed at the center of the piston. A cylinder includes a guide recess, a cylinder space, a cylinder upper surface, a cylinder lower surface, and a hole. The edge of the packing is inserted into the guide recess. The cylinder space is wider than the outer surface of the piston. The hole is longer than the piston. The diameter of the hole is equal to the piston inner space.
