A process of producing scented drinking straw comprising: mixing two grades of polypropylene to form a polypropylene mixture; melting the polypropylene mixture by pushing said mixture through between 2-8 heating zones before entering the extrusion process; introducing scented polypropylene compound into the polypropylene mixture through a color-feed typed dosing system at the beginning of the extrusion process; and extruding out the mixture of scented polypropylene compound and the polypropylene mixture as a long continuous drinking straw containing scent.
