A system and a method for providing AD(ADvertisement) in subway stations are provided to display moving picture AD of advertisers to a part of screen doors installed in each subway station without replacing an AD poster or board by receiving the AD from the advertisers and distributing the received AD according to each time slot. A backbone module(110) transmits various media types of AD data received from advertiser terminals. A broadcasting source module(120) plays the AD data according to each media type. A distributing module(130) distributes the AD data to players of the broadcasting source module and receives a played AD signal from the broadcasting source module. An encoding module(140) stores the AD data received from the backbone module and encodes/transmits the AD signal received from the distributing module to the backbone module. An accessing module(170) distributes the AD signal received from the backbone module to each subway station. A transmitting module(150) schedules the AD signal transmitted to each subway station and monitors the AD image displayed in each subway station. Each AD signal receiver receives/converts in the subway station the AD signal by connecting to the accessory module. Each display device displays the AD image to a part of the screen door by connecting to the AD signal receivers. A network management module(160) includes a web sever(161) to which a plurality of advertiser terminals(C1-Cn) are connected and a database sever(162) in which advertisement data are stored. |
