METHOD FOR PROVIDING A VIRTUAL COMMUNITY USING MOBILE TERMINAL AND SYSTEM THEREOF

A method and a system for providing a virtual community with a mobile terminal are provided to enable the mobile terminals to share information with each other conveniently and free by connecting the mobile terminals to PAN(Personal Area Network). A mobile terminal searches at least one other mobile terminal connected to the PAN(S22). The mobile terminal displays an information sharing window for generating the information with the searched mobile terminals(S24). The mobile terminal shares the information with the searched mobile terminals by using the information sharing window(S25). The information sharing window is the virtual community of a bulletin board type. The PAN is one of IrDA(Infrared Data Association), Bluetooth, ZigBee, and UWB(Ultra Wide Band) PAN.
