A route monitoring system for compensating location is provided to compensate for a deviated route even when a moving device is deviated from a regular route by implementing a PSD in the device. A route monitoring system for compensating location includes a light radiating unit(101) and an optical module(200). The light radiating unit, which is installed in a moving device(100), radiates light. The optical module receives the light from the light radiating unit and detects deviation of the moving device from a regular route. The optical module includes first and second lens, and a PSD(Position Sensitive light Detector) circuit. The light from the light radiating unit is incident to the PSD circuit via the first and second lenses. The PSD circuit determines whether the moving device is deviated from the regular route, based on the incident position of the light.
