MANUFACTURING METHOD OF ACTIVATED LYMPHOCYTES FOR IMMUNOTHERAPY

A manufacturing method of activated lymphocytes is provided to produce a large quantity of CD56+ and NKG2D+ cells having high killing effects on tumor cells and virus-infected cells, so that the activated lymphocytes are useful for cellular immunotherapy. A manufacturing method of activated lymphocytes comprises the steps of: collecting and separating lymphocytes from the peripheral blood; culturing the separated lymphocytes in the presence of IL-2(interleukin-2), IFN-gamma(interferon-gamma) and anti-CD3 antibody to activate them; cryopreserving the activated lymphocytes including CD56+ and NKG2D+ for a certain time; and dissolving and restoring the cryopreserved lymphocytes. A cellular immunotherapy composition comprises the activated lymphocytes as effective ingredients.
