A solar panel or photovoltaic device, is shaped as a mobius strip 1. Also disclosed is a mobius strip (1), the surface of which is at least partially covered with photovoltaic material (10, 12). The join 15 may formed by adhesive placed on an overlapping region of the two ends of the strip. The strip may be twisted through more than 180, 360, 540, 720, 900, 1080 and any further multiples to produce a spiral effect in the strip. |
