The plant aid (1) comprises a tube for partly surrounding a young plant (3). A water collection sheet (8) having a water collection surface (9), collects moisture present in atmosphere. The water collection surface has a receiving surface (10) with an angle with respect to an orientation of gravity, that is smaller than an angle of a collecting surface (11) with respect to the orientation of gravity.
