METHODS OF PREPARING A VINYL CHLORIDE POLYMER HAVING SUPERIOR WORKABILITY

A method for preparing a poly(vinyl chloride) is provided to improve processability, initial coloration and productivity and to increase the bulk specific gravity of a poly(vinyl chloride). A method for preparing a poly(vinyl chloride) comprises the steps of injecting 120-150 parts by weight of a solvent, 0.02-0.2 parts by weight of a polymerization initiator, 0.03-5 parts by weight of a protective colloid, 0.01-1.5 parts by weight of a pH controller and 100 parts by weight of a vinyl chloride monomer into a reactor; polymerizing it at a constant temperature of 30-80 deg.C; and adding an antioxidizing agent after increasing the temperature by 5-20 deg.C when the conversion rate of polymerization exceeds 60% and polymerizing it.
