A continuously variable transmission is provided to obtain an optimum output by outputting torque in proportion to an amount of loads. A power generation unit(10) is attached to a decelerator body(11) and an outside of a case(12). A power input shaft(13) is formed to fix a power shaft(10-1). A shaft supporting part(15) is used for rotatably supporting the power input shaft by using a bearing. A rotary plate(17) is fixed to an end of the power input shaft. An insertion groove(18) is formed at the rotary plate. A supporting bolt(19) is coupled with a lateral side of the rotary plate. A spring(20) is coupled with the supporting bolt. First and second protrusions(22,23) are formed at a rotary unit. The first protrusion is coupled with a long groove(24-1) of an operational rod(24). A fixing part is inserted into a middle shaft(31) supported by a bearing(31B). First and second middle gears(32,33) having first and second bearings(32B,33B) and first and second clutch bearings(32BB,33BB) are coupled with the middle shaft. A first lower gear(42) and a second lower gear are fixed to a lower shaft. An output shaft gear(52) is formed at an output shaft(51) supported by a bearing(51B). An output end(51-1) is protruded from the case. A direction switching gear(53) is coupled with the output shaft. A connective part(55) is fixed to a handle. A left/right gap control part is supported by a supporting bolt(62). A screw shaft(63) is coupled with the left/right gap control part.
