METHOD FOR PROCESSING DIGITAL IMAGE

A digital image processing method is provided to generate an optimum image file easily that can be uploaded to a Web site and solve a problem related to a file capacity without a post-correction. A Web size mode setting signal for processing the size and picture quality of an image to be captured and an image to be uploaded to a Web site is received. In the Web size mode, a menu for setting the capacity and an adjustment mode of the second image is provided. The first image file is generated based on the size and picture quality set with respect to a captured image. The second image file is generated according to the set capacity by adjusting the size and a compression rate of the generated first image file. The first and second image files or the second image file are stored.
