A method and a circuit for transmitting a memory clock signal are provided to reduce circuit cost by reducing power consumption and improving design restriction according to timing requirement. According a method for transmitting a clock signal, a memory device(110) receives a first clock signal and a second clock signal. The frequency of the first clock is smaller than the frequency of the second clock signal. More than two data access operations are performed by using the second clock signal. At least one data access operation includes read operation, and at least one data access operation includes write operation. Command processing operation is performed by using the first clock signal.
