A PDA having a WLAN AP function is provided to be connected to a separate computer accessible to the Internet to perform the AP function, so that other WLAN devices can access the Internet without using a business wireless Internet service. A PDA(Personal Digital Assistant)(200) having a WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network) AP(Access Point) function comprises an external interface unit(203), a wireless interface unit(201), and an AP function unit(231). The external interface unit accesses an information terminal accessible to the Internet to transceive data. The wireless interface unit accesses a WLAN to transceive data with other WLAN devices. The AP function unit provides an AP function for communication between WLAN devices on the WLAN by controlling the wireless interface unit, and transfers data for Internet access, received from the WLAN device, to the information terminal through the external interface unit to enable the Internet access.
