A device and a method for measuring blood pressure are provided to measure systolic blood pressure(SBP) and diastolic blood pressure(DBP) accurately, by analyzing pulsation waveform information. First and second measurement units measure blood pressure variation of a patient. A pressure control part(330) controls the pressure of the first and second pressure measurement units. A signal processing part(360) converts blood pressure variation information of the patient measured in the first and second measurement units into first and second pulsation waveform information. A processor part(390) measures systolic blood pressure(SBP) and diastolic blood pressure(DBP) by analyzing the first and second pulsation waveform information. The first measurement unit and the second measurement unit are separated from each other.
