A muff for preventing the infectious diseases is provided to exterminate a trombicula pallida, carrier of a tsutsugamushi fever, by using its habit of crawling up and hiding in wet shadow, and by configuring a part of a muff body with a material, like flannelette, deposited by an insecticide, to prevent the tsutsugamushi fever effectively. A muff for preventing the infectious diseases includes: a body unit(1), made out of a material, like textile fabric, etc. to receive a user's forearm; a lower band unit(2), pressed closely against a user's wrist; an upper band unit, pressed closely against a user's elbow; a shadow unit(4,5), configured in such a manner that a determined part of the body unit is folded to build up a shadow; and a deposited member(6), deposited by chemicals for exterminating a trombicula pallida, and arranged inside the shadow unit.
