<p>A press machine with a linear motor is provided to discharge slugs generated during drilling easily by driving a linear motor having a die beneath. A press machine with a linear motor for pressing a workpiece by a punch(61) and a die(62) positioned at a press drive shaft center comprises a press frame(41) having an upper frame and a lower frame, a linear motor for punch(1), and a linear motor for die(1A). The linear motor for punch, which is installed at the upper frame, drives the punch. The linear motor for die, which is placed at the lower frame, drives a die. One side or two sides of the linear motor for punch and the linear motor for die is a unit linear motor assembly having plural unit linear motors where an output part is parallel to the press drive shaft center around the press drive shaft center. A slug discharge hole is formed at a portion corresponding to the press drive shaft center of the linear motor for die by press processing.</p> |
