A bio-implant RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) tag and an insertion jig thereof are provided to secure coverage and apply no stress to a small animation such as a mouse even if the bio-implant RFID tag is implanted into the skin of the small animation. A bio-implant RFID tag includes an antenna(3) having a slit(4) for matching impedance and arranged on a flexible plastic film, an inlet embedded with an IC chip(5), and a rod member(6) made of a flexible plastic material(2a) and attaching the inlet to an outer circumference, and a bio-friendly platform material. An outer cover(12) is coated on the inlet attached to the outer circumference of the rod member. The length of the small animation is less than 10 centimeters, the length of the RFID tag is less than 10 percents of the length of the small animation, and the radius or the width of the RFID tag is less than 1.5 percents of the length of the small animation. The rod member forms a groove for receiving the IC chip without projecting the IC chip.
