A composition for producing artificial wood materials is provided to allow recyclization of wood powder and waste paper, to solve the problems of degradation of physical properties and strength caused by hygroscopic property and needle-like wollastonite, and to realize improved surface roughness upon molding. A composition for producing artificial wood materials comprises a polyolefin resin, crushed wood powder, long glass fibers, needle-like wollastonite, a processing aid and a dewatering agent. The composition comprises: a base part containing 30-51 wt% of a polyolefin resin, 30-55 wt% of crushed wood powder containing a smaller amount of rice hulls and a larger amount of wood powder, 2-10 wt% of long glass fibers surface-treated with a thermoplastic resin, 2-7 wt% of needle-like wollastonite impregnated with aminosilane, and 0.02-2.0 wt% of polyethylene as a processing aid; and 0.1-2.0 wt% of a dewatering agent comprising at least one material selected from quicklime, lime and maleic anhydride based on 100 wt% of the base part.
