A wireless occupational therapy device for tele-rehabilitation is provided to enable a remote expert to manage occupational therapy by monitoring a training progress/result in real-time with an electronic chip embedded in a peg and a board, and an audio/video module and a communication module embedded in the board, evaluating the occupational therapy, and transmitting an evaluation result to a remote rehabilitation center through the wireless network. An electronic peg and an electronic board include the electronic chip. The audio/video module outputs a sound, and displays a picture or a number by processing the occupational therapy progress/result automatically. The communication module transmits the occupational therapy progress/result to a PC(100) of a brain damaged patient through the wireless network. The electronic chip is an RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) chip, a Hall effect sensor, and an optical sensor. Shape, size, color, and weight of the peg are different from those of the patient. Consultation is received from an occupational therapy expert(300) by transmitting the occupational therapy progress/result to the remote rehabilitation center through the communication module and the PC. |
