An equipment for automatic TIG-welding of steel pipes is provided to be able to secure more stable supporting structure and traveling structure and enable the steel pipes to be welded accurately by improving arrangement structure of a welding robot-supporting structure, thereby uniformly distributing load of a welding robot. In an equipment for automatic welding of steel pipes, comprising a circular body that can be opened or closed to hold steel pipes, a welding traveling part(210) projected in a circular ring shape from one side face of the circular body, and a welding robot(220) mounted on the welding traveling part and moved to weld outer faces of the steel pipes, an equipment for automatic TIG-welding of steel pipes is characterized in that the welding robot includes a traveling drive part(230) mounted on an inner side of the welding traveling part and moved along the welding traveling part, a supporting frame(290) extending from the traveling drive part to a top face of the welding traveling part, a perpendicularity/horizontality adjusting part(240) installed to be supported to the supporting frame to adjust a horizontal directional position and a vertical directional position of the welding robot, a hanger base(250) connected to the perpendicularity/horizontality adjusting part to support a TIG welding torch(222), a welding wire(223) and a contact type sensor(225), a sensor mounting adjusting part(260) connected to one side of the hanger base to support the contact type sensor, and a torch mounting adjusting part(270) connected to the other side of the hanger base to support the welding torch and the welding wire.
