A lamp lighting apparatus for an LCD backlight using conductive rubber and a fabrication method thereof are provided to simplify a processing process of a socket by integrally forming a socket transmitting power to a fluorescent lamp by using a conductive rubber having a long bar shape. An insulator(100) fixed with a first conductive metal or first conductive rubber(140) includes a plurality of fluorescent lamp insertion grooves from one side toward the other side, and the fluorescent lamp contacts an end portion of the fluorescent lamp insertion groove. A fluorescent lamp fixing member(200) fixes the fluorescent lamp. The insulator includes a first insertion groove into which the first conductive rubber or the first conductive metal is inserted.
