A glass substrate carrier with a non-contact brake assembly is provided to prevent generation of any particle damaging a circuit on a glass substrate to increase productivity of the glass substrate. A glass substrate carrier with a non-contact brake assembly includes a base(10), a tray assembly(20), a conveyance device(30), a non-contact brake assembly(40), and a handle. The base can move on the ground, and includes a plurality of wheels mounted under the base. The tray assembly is mounted on the base, and includes a linkage slide(21), a tray(23), and a connection assembly. The linkage slide is slidably mounted on the base. The conveyance device is mounted between the base and the tray assembly. The non-contact brake assembly is mounted on the base and the tray assembly and includes a first brake part and a second brake part. The handle is rotatably mounted on the base to be connected to a pulley on the conveyance device.
