A control method for increasing engine torque in a shifting process before a stopping state is provided to improve a shift sense by increasing an RPM(Revolution Per Minute) of an engine in comparison with rotation number of a turbine. A shift control range is divided into four ranges. A shift process is started in a first control range in order to control a rising state of engine torque and to increase an RPM(Revolution Per Minute). An additional engine torque rising control process is performed to increase the RPM and a real shift process using a hydraulic pressure control is performed to increase the rotation number of a turbine. An engine torque reduction control process is performed in a third section and the shift process is finished. The engine torque rising control process is finished in a fourth section.
