An apparatus and a method for converting an endoscope image are provided to convert plural images photographed by an endoscope into one sheet of a three dimensional image as if the internal organs are spread, thereby reducing an endoscope image reading time of a medical worker such as a doctor or the like. A modeling unit(210) models the internal organs of a human in a cylindrical shape. A 2D(Two Dimensional) image configuring unit(220) obtains a view-frustum of an image photographing the internal organs of the human through an endoscope, and obtains a cross area between an inner surface of the internal organs, modeled in the cylindrical shape by the modeling unit, and the view-frustum to configure a 2D image. An image converting unit(230) converts the 2D image, configured by the 2D image configuring unit, into a 3D image. |
