A method for polymeric high-voltage insulator production includes fiberglass rod preparation, preparation of metal terminations, which includes a basis cylindrical in substance surface, connection of metal terminations to rod ends and manufacturing a protective shield. The rod is placed in a casting form, it is prepared silicone elastomer, which placed in casting form and vulcanized under pressure. At preparation of metal terminations in butt-end of the said basis part of each of them it is made an axial reaming having wall with D thickness, which is formed by the basis cylindrical surface and inner surface of the axis reaming. At butt-and from axial reaming site it is made connection with the said cylindrical surface, which has radius R within limits of 0,5D R 2D. Before placing rod in the casting form it is made connection of metal terminations to rod ends by means of crimping rod ends in corresponding axial reaming with forming a united power unit comprising a rod and its crimping ends which are placed in casting form. As silicon elastomer, polymeric compound on the basis of liquid rubber is used. Oligomers of it contain end functional groups; vulcanization is realized under pressure of 30 Mpa. |
