The invention relates to medicine, namely to complex treatment of the osteomyelitis of the lower limbs. A method comprises the access to the inferior epigastric artery, the catheterization of the artery, the prolonged infusion of antibiotics according to antibioticogram and the vascular drugs with the accompanying irradiation of the arterial blood with the low-energy laser beam of red, infrared spectrum and non-coherent ultraviolet radiation, the radical surgery (bone trepanation, sequestrectomy, the removal of the pathologic granulations), the treatment of the bone cavity with high-energy laser radiation, the drainage of the purulent focus with the insertion of quartz-polymeric light-guide into the sequestered cavity provides for irradiation with laser beam of red, infrared spectrum and non-coherent ultraviolet radiation. The choice of the radiation spectrum depends on the type of reaction to the pyo-necrotic inflammation. When hyperergy predominates with the tendency towards the progression of endotoxicosis, the ultraviolet spectrum is preferable. When lymphocytosis increases, the infrared spectrum is used. In the case of lymphopenia with the tendency towards anergy, the red range of laser emission is preferable. |
