A one-part composition for preventing polymerization of aromatic vinyl monomers is provided to facilitate a purification process of aromatic vinyl monomers in the presence of moisture, and to prevent separation of ingredients forming the composition, thereby facilitating the use and handling of the composition. A one-part composition for preventing polymerization of aromatic vinyl monomers comprises: a dinitrophenol compound; a compound represented by the following formula 1; an aromatic compound having at least one -NH- group; and a solvent. In formula 1, each of A and B independently represents a substituted or non-substituted C1-C30 alkyl group, -N1RR2 (wherein each of R1 and R2 represents H or a substituted or non-substituted C1-C30 alkyl group), -NO or -SO3H.
