A selvage yarn processing unit of an air jet loom is provided to prevent the nap from generating due to the blowing phenomenon of the cut weft and to improve the work environment. A housing(1) is installed at a side of a guide roller so that a cut false weft and a catch cord yarn are moved at a side of a knitting machine. A guide pipe body(3) is installed at the housing through a bearing(4). A twist portion(30) is formed at an end of the guide pipe body so that the cut false weft and the catch cord yarn are rotated together by the friction force. A rotation member(5) is fixed at a side of the guide pipe body so that the guide pipe body is rotated. A nozzle(7) is installed at the housing and has an air control member(6) for controlling the supply amount of air. An air supply tube(9) is connected to the rear of the nozzle. A guide roller guides the twisted cut false weft and catch cord yarn to a winding roll. |
