A cooling apparatus for an aging of a flat display panel is provided to uniformly cool down a large display panel by blowing air while reciprocally moving a single fan over the flat display panel. A cooling apparatus for an aging of a flat display panel includes a fan and an aging voltage source. The fan includes a cooling fan(20) and a driver(10), which reciprocally moves the cooling fan. The driver includes a motor(11), first and second sprockets(12,16), a chain(13), and a connection bar(15). The motor generates a rotation force for rotating the cooling fan. The first sprocket is coupled with a driving axis of the motor. The second sprocket is fixed between the motor and a frame and is coupled with a driven axis, which is supported on a bearing. The chain is coupled between the first and second sprockets. The connection bar is connected between the frame and the chain.
