An electrodeless fluorescent lamp is provided to decrease a standby time of the fluorescent lamp by rapidly diffusing mercury to an upper portion of a bulb from an amalgam container. An electrodeless fluorescent lamp includes a bulb(10), a base(20), and an antenna(30). An outer ball(11) has a discharge space therein. An inner tube(16) is formed inside the outer ball. The outer ball is bonded with a lower end of the inner tube to form the bulb. The base is coupled with a lower portion of the bulb. The antenna is coupled with a lower portion of the base and inserted into the inner tube. An amalgam container(100), which is coupled with the discharge space and contains amalgam(110) therein, is formed at the lower end of the bulb. The amalgam container contains the amalgam and is protruded into the discharge space.
