<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing system improved in durability. <P>SOLUTION: The sealing system 10a for sealing an annular clearance between a cylinder 32 and a piston 32 of a hydraulic breaker comprises: a rod packing 500 for preventing oil leak; and a buffer ring 100 for buffering the hydraulic pressure, disposed closer to the sealing side of oil O from the rod packing 500. The rod packing 500 and the buffer ring 100 provided to be slidable to the piston 32.
