<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide recording paper excellent in both ink-jet printability and electrophotographic printability, high in paper strength and high in quality stability. <P>SOLUTION: The recording paper is produced by the following process: Using pulp and a filler as main materials, deinked floss discharged in a deinking step in a waste paper pulp production process is dewatered, dried, baked and ground, and regenerated aggregate granules obtained by baking and aggregation in the baking step are essentially mixed as a filler for internal addition, wherein the regenerated aggregate granules includes Ca, Si and Al as granules constituents at a ratio of (30-82):(9-35):(9-35) in terms of oxide. In the recording paper, the total content of Si and Al is 90 mass% or greater in terms of oxide and the detected area of the existing portion of the regenerated granule aggregate on the surface accounts for 10-100% of the total detected area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
