<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inkjet recording paper with no coating unevenness and a highly white blank paper part. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording paper provides an underlayer and an ink receiving layer on a substrate in this order so as to come into contact with each other. Using consciousness chromaticity indexes a* and b* by CIELAB of the surface of the substrate, the surface of the underlayer and the surface of the ink receiving layer, both values of A<SB>1</SB>and A<SB>2</SB>obtained by the following formulae are ≤7. A<SB>1</SB>=ä(a*<SB>1</SB>-a*<SB>2</SB>)<SP>2</SP>+(b*<SB>1</SB>-b*<SB>2</SB>)<SP>2</SP>}<SP>1/2</SP>, A<SB>2</SB>=ä(a*<SB>2</SB>-a*<SB>3</SB>)<SP>2</SP>+(b*<SB>2</SB>-b*<SB>3</SB>)<SP>2</SP>}<SP>1/2</SP>, wherein a*<SB>1</SB>and b*<SB>1</SB>: consciousness chromaticity index of the surface of the substrate; a*<SB>2</SB>and b*<SB>2</SB>: consciousness chromaticity index of the surface of the underlayer; a*<SB>3</SB>and b*<SB>3</SB>: consciousness chromaticity index of the surface of the ink receiving layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
