<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupon information processing system that can effectively prevent leakage of personal information and the like accompanying the use of coupons. <P>SOLUTION: The coupon information processing system includes an onboard apparatus 1 capable of transmitting ID information about a user, ID information about a coupon and ID information about the store that has issued the coupon, a center apparatus 2 for, when receiving the ID information transmitted from the onboard apparatus 1, converting it into a two-dimensional bar code and returning it to the onboard apparatus 1, and a portable terminal 3 capable of displaying the two-dimensional bar code.
