PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print data more flexibly in accordance with user's intention.

SOLUTION: A document printing apparatus includes: a document set reception means which receives a document set including a template with layout information and data acquisition instruction information describing data information to be acquired from a server communicable via a network; a data acquisition means which acquires data from the server on the basis of the data acquisition instruction information extracted from the received document set; a merge means which merges data acquired by the data acquisition means, with the template extracted from the received document set; a rendering means which renders the result of merge in the merge means; and a printing means which prints the result of rendering in the rendering means.
