摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing apparatus which keeps excellent immediate effectivity and deodorization performance and is effective even for the removal of clinging odors outside the deodorizing apparatus by using the deodorizing apparatus for exciting a photocatalyst by discharge and simultaneously discharging ozone and discharging the ozone formed by the discharge to a surrounding environment by an allowable concentration without returning all the ozone produced by the discharge to oxygen. <P>SOLUTION: The deodorizing apparatus is composed by disposing a means 19 for generating the ozone and ultraviolet rays by high voltage discharge, a photocatalyst module 12 for decomposing odor components and harmful substances, etc., contained in the air by a photocatalyst action by the ultraviolet rays generated in the high voltage discharge means and an ozone decomposition means 13 for decomposing the ozone generated by the high voltage discharge means inside an air blowing route 9 where the air is blown by a fan 14.
