PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC tag system that is excellent in versatility and high in recognition accuracy.

SOLUTION: A reader device comprises a voltage signal output means for generating and outputting a voltage signal for reading an IC tag, an IC tag signal reception means for detecting a response signal returned in response to the voltage signal from an IC tag capable of detecting the voltage signal, and a control means for controlling the voltage signal output action and the response signal reception action.
