<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing plate which is free from visual defection due to interference of light such as interference fringes, is excellent in scuffing resistance and anti-dazzling property, does not cause peeling of a protective layer from a polarizer even in a high-temperature and high-humidity environment, can retain a high degree of polarization and is suitable for a liquid crystal display device or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The polarizer plate is made by stacking the visual side protective layer which is prepared by laminating (k) layers of thermoplastic resin layers ((k) is an integer of two or more) and has a relation expressed by the relation (1) between refractive index n<SB>i</SB>(λ) at wavelength λ in the range of wavelength 380 nm to 780 nm of the ith thermoplastic resin layer and refractive index n<SB>i+1</SB>(λ) at wavelength λ in the range of wavelength 380 nm to 780 nm of the i+1th thermoplastic resin layer and a polarizer via an active energy beam curable adhesive containing no solvent; relation (1) ¾n<SB>i</SB>(λ)-n<SB>i+1</SB>(λ)¾≤0.05, wherein (i) is an integer of 1 to k-1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
