<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for connecting an electronic component and a flat cable, by which method an electronic component to which two or more terminals are connected highly precisely is used to connect the terminals to a flat cable with high positional precision. <P>SOLUTION: According to the method for connecting the electronic component and the flat cable, an electronic component unit in which two terminals 14 are connected to the electronic component LED 10 in highly precise positioning is used to connect two terminals 14 highly precisely to the flat cable 20. Since the LED 10 and the terminals 14 are connected highly precisely in advance, connecting the terminal 14 to the flat cable 20 highly precisely at steps S4 and S7 allows connection of the LED 10 to the flat cable 20, while keeping the relative positional relation between the LED 10 and the flat cable 20 at highly precise level. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
