PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric generator having a constitution in which a large number of heat adsorption fins are densely arranged inside tube members, and which can make adjustable flow channel cross sections of the tube members. SOLUTION: The thermoelectric generator comprises: the tube members 71b, 81b and 91b in which heat mediums flow; a plurality of fixed fins 71c, 81c and 91c which are arranged in a row inside the tube members and fixed to the tube members; a plurality of movable fins 72b, 82b and 92b which are arranged between the plurality of fixed fins, and make adjustable the cross sections of the flow channels of the heat mediums formed between the fixed fins and themselves by being movably constituted with respect to the fixed fins; and a thermoelectric generation part 40 which is arranged outside the tube members and generates heat by utilizing heat from the fixed fins or the movable fins.
