PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens driving device which can be made compact and can assure the smooth movement of a lens support. SOLUTION: In the lens driving device 1, a coil 15 fixed to the outer circumference of the lens support 7 is arranged facing the outer circumferential wall 3a of a yoke 3 or magnets 13 leaving an interval between the coil 15 and the outer circumferential wall 3a or leaving an interval between the coil 15 and the magnet 13, the lens support 7 is moved back and forth along the optical axis direction of the lens by an electromagnetic force generated with the power supply to the coil 15, the outer circumferential wall 3a of the yoke 3 is formed into rectangular tube shape, and the inner peripheral wall 3b of the yoke 3 is formed cylindrical, and the coil 15 is formed annular, the magnet 13 is arranged in each corner part 14 of the outer circumferential wall 3a of the yoke, and the inner circumferential surface 13e of the magnet 13 forms a circular arc surface, and regarding the inner circumferential surface of the outer circumferential wall 3a of the yoke, the surface 3f positioned between the adjacent magnets 13 and 13 is recessed outward than the surfaces where the magnets are arranged.
